Today was Kids Day at the Stampede! Free admission if you were there before 9:00 am. Ben used one of his vacation days to come with us. We got them up and on the train as seen in the photo above by 7:20 am. It was an early start for some of them. Izzy was probably the most excited one and was up and ready to go before we were. They loved riding on the train to and from, going on all the rides, getting their faces painted, watching shows, eating yummy treats (mini donuts and cotton candy). We also had the free Stampede Breakfast, which was pretty good! They wanted to dress up as cowgirls, and so Chloe and Olivia both had little cowboy boots, and everyone wore denim. It started to POUR rain as we were in line for the face painting. We took shelter by watching the Ice Show and then it was quite a nice, sunny day. It was a fun and tiring day. We finished it off with a swim at the YMCA. Needless to say, everyone will sleep very well tonight!
